Specifications

IBIC Group’s Frozen Grilled Mixed Vegetables are a premium IQF product comprising a chef-ready blend of grilled vegetable slices cultivated, harvested, and processed in Egypt to strict food safety standards. Each vegetable is washed, sliced, grilled to develop authentic smoky flavour and characteristic charred colour, then individually quick frozen (IQF) at -35°C in accordance with Good Agricultural Practices, GMP, and HACCP systems — with no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives added at any stage.

The result is a versatile, convenient grilled vegetable ingredient that delivers genuine smoky depth and appealing visual contrast to a wide range of applications — from ready meals and pizzas to side dishes, salad bars, wraps, and soups — while offering significant time and labour savings for foodservice operators and food manufacturers alike. The mixed blend typically includes zucchini, eggplant (aubergine), and coloured bell peppers, creating a visually attractive, multi-flavour mix well suited to Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines.

IBIC’s grilled mixed vegetables are approved for HALAL and manufactured under BRC-certified food safety management, making them suitable for global retail, wholesale, and private label programmes across GCC, EU, and international markets.

Yes — completely. IBIC’s frozen grilled mixed vegetable slices are 100% free from chemical preservatives, artificial colours, artificial flavours, and artificial additives of any kind. The only ingredients are the vegetables themselves. Preservation is achieved entirely through the IQF freezing process at -35°C and subsequent cold chain storage at -18°C, in accordance with HACCP food safety protocols and BRC certification standards.

Store at -18°C (deep freeze) at all times. Shelf life is 18 months from production date when stored continuously at -18°C in an intact, undamaged sealed pack. Refreezing is strictly not permitted after thawing — once thawed, the product should be consumed or used within 24 hours. Maintain unbroken cold chain throughout transport, storage, and retail distribution.

IBIC’s frozen grilled mixed vegetables are available in retail bag sizes of 400g, 1kg, 2.5kg, and 5kg. Bulk carton packing is 8kg net (20 bags × 400g). Full container loads are available in 40ft refrigerated containers. Private label packaging with custom branding, multilingual labels, and specific pack weights can be arranged through IBIC’s private label programme. IBIC’s frozen grilled mixed vegetables are produced under HALAL certification, BRC (British Retail Consortium) food safety management certification, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). Quality control also includes SPC (Statistical Process Control) and QA systems applied throughout manufacturing, storage, and logistics. Pesticide residues are tested and confirmed to conform with WHO recommendations and EC directives. Documentation is available upon request for import compliance and buyer due diligence.

IBIC’s IQF frozen grilled mixed vegetable slices can be used directly from frozen in hot applications such as pizza, soups, and ready meals where oven or cooking heat will complete the defrost and heating process. For cold applications such as salads and antipasto, thawing in the refrigerator overnight or under cold running water is recommended. Do not refreeze once thawed. The IQF process ensures individual pieces remain separate and easy to portion without full-pack thawing.
