Frequently Asked Questions
IBIC Group supplies 10 IQF frozen fruit products from Egypt: strawberries (Festival variety), mango cubes, mango slices, whole guava, pomegranate arils, seedless grapes, peach slices, whole figs, apricot halves, and pineapple chunks. All are IQF Grade A processed in the Nile Delta, HALAL and ISO certified, with 18-month shelf life at -18°C. Available in retail bags (400g–5kg), bulk cartons (10kg), and full container loads.
Egyptian frozen fruit is preferred by international food manufacturers for several reasons: Egypt’s climate produces fruit with naturally high Brix levels and intense flavor profiles; the Nile Delta’s fertile soils yield consistent crop quality; Egypt’s geographic position enables shorter, lower-cost shipping routes to Europe, GCC, and Africa compared to Latin American or Asian origins; and Egypt’s established food safety infrastructure provides ISO, FDA, and HALAL certification compliance sought by global buyers.
The standard minimum order for IBIC frozen fruits is one 40-foot refrigerated container (approximately 2,400 cartons / 24 metric tons). Multi-product container orders combining different frozen fruit SKUs are accommodated. Private-label orders may have specific minimums per product — contact IBIC’s sales team with product and quantity requirements for custom pricing and availability confirmation.
Yes. IBIC’s IQF frozen fruits are widely used in smoothie and beverage manufacturing. The individual piece separation of IQF format enables precise portioning for smoothie production lines. Frozen mango cubes (14–18° Brix), frozen guava (highest Vitamin C of any IBIC fruit at 355% DV), frozen strawberries, and frozen pineapple (131% DV Vitamin C with natural bromelain) are the most popular beverage manufacturing products.
Yes. IBIC Group supplies all frozen fruit products year-round regardless of harvest season. IQF processing during peak harvest windows combined with cold storage at -18°C enables inventory maintenance across the full year. Peak-season processing batches offer the freshest quality and most competitive pricing, while off-season inventory ensures supply continuity for buyers with year-round production schedules.
